A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $175,000.00 OF HOTELIMOTEL FUNDS TOWARDS
THE 2017 LODGING TAX FUND GRANTS PROGRAM FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND
PROJECTS
WHEREAS:

WHEREAS:
The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LT AC) met in an open public
meeting on August 11,2016 and voted to recommend to the Board of
Commissioners to allocate up to $175,000.00 of HotellMotel tax funds for
the 2017 Events/Projects grants; and
The Board of Commissioners met in an open public meeting on October
18 1\ 2016 and was presented with and discussed the LTAC
recommendation; and
The Board of County Commissioners supports the LTAC's
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners
hereby allocates up to $175,000.00 toward the 2017 Lodging Tax Fund Grant Program for
Special Events and Projects Grants.
