BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2016-12> ( <br />A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $175,000.00 OF HOTELIMOTEL FUNDS TOWARDS <br />THE 2017 LODGING TAX FUND GRANTS PROGRAM FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND <br />PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS: <br />The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LT AC) met in an open public <br />meeting on August 11,2016 and voted to recommend to the Board of <br />Commissioners to allocate up to $175,000.00 of HotellMotel tax funds for <br />the 2017 Events/Projects grants; and <br />The Board of Commissioners met in an open public meeting on October <br />18 1\ 2016 and was presented with and discussed the LTAC <br />recommendation; and <br />The Board of County Commissioners supports the LTAC's <br />recommendation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />hereby allocates up to $175,000.00 toward the 2017 Lodging Tax Fund Grant Program for <br />Special Events and Projects Grants. <br />ADOPTED this 13 th day of 0e-fV l;lt,L 2016. <br />Con:unissioIier
