KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 17,2016 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve the <br />recommendation from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee to <br />allocate $100,000 to Lodging Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale <br />Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and Operations Applications <br />Request for Proposals (RFP). <br />BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (L TAC) met and discussed the <br />Lodging Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale Municipality-Owned <br />Capital Projects and Operations Request for Proposals. <br />INTERACTION: The L TAC voted unanimously to forward a recommendation to the <br />BOCC to allocate $100,000 to advertise for a RFP for the Lodging <br />Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital <br />Projects and Operations ApplicationS. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the recommendation from the Lodging Tax Committee to <br />allocate $100,000 to Lodging Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale <br />Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and Operations and approve <br />advertising a Request for Proposals on 5-20-16. <br />HANDLING: Original -Clerk of the Board <br />Copy -LTAC <br />ATTACHMENTS: Recommendation from LTAC <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, L T AC Clerk for Paul Jewell
