BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. d-eJ1(j}-O ~{A <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County inspects bridges within County right of way on a regular <br />basis consistent with federal and state inspection requirements; and <br />WHEREAS: Recent inspection of Manastash Road Bridge No. 76131 confirms <br />significant concrete girder deterioration; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works requested a structural evaluation by Sargent Engineers, <br />Inc. resulting in a recommended load limit for the bridge; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works anticipates bridge repairs taking a minimum of two years; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: A load limit for a single vehicle not to exceed 22 tons gross weight is <br />recommended for the bridge by Sargent Engineers, Inc. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners does impose a load limit of 22 tons gross weight on <br />Manastash Road Bridge No. 76131 for single vehicles for an initial period <br />of two years and does hereby authorize chair signature for the <br />aforementioned. <br />DATED this 19th day of January, 2016, at Ellensburg , Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />~.£X?ZJ~. <br />~~--------- <br />Pa ul ewell , Vice~Ch air <br />6e-
