BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2016-03 r <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2016 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 2,2016, to <br />furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2016; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas <br />County Public Works Office, and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Western <br />States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and the responsible bid of Albina Asphalt <br />for Schedule "B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2016 Liquid Asphalt Materials to Western <br />States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and to Albina Asphalt for Schedule "B", be accepted, upon <br />such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 1st day of March, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />o DeputY,Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz .
