COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER'S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />TUESDAY 10:30 A.M. FEBRUARY 8, 2011 <br />Board members present: Commissioner Paul Jewell, Commissioner Alan <br />Crankovich and Commissioner Obie O'Brien. <br />Others: Catherine Dunn, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Zera Lowe and <br />Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutors; Deanna Panattoni, Treasurer; <br />Marsha Weyand, Assessor. <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br />At 10:35 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened the special meeting and <br />announced the Board would retire into Executive Session with Zera <br />Lowe, Deanna Panattoni and Marsha Weyand for fifteen minutes to <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating <br />to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency. Potential action was <br />anticipated. <br />At 10:50 a.m. the Board returned from Executive Session and gave <br />direction to staff to move forward with discussions regarding a <br />settlement. <br />At 10:52 Chairman Jewell announced the Board would retire into <br />Executive Session with Patti Johnson and Neil Caulkins for fifteen <br />minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of <br />real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding <br />such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. <br />Potential action was anticipated. <br />At 11:07 a.m. the Board returned from Executive Session and Chairman <br />Jewell announced the Board would again retire into Executive Session <br />with Patti Johnson and Neil Caulkins for ten minutes to consider the <br />selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or <br />purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would <br />cause a likelihood of increased price.
