COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. FEBRUARY 7, 2011 <br />Board members present: Chairman, Paul Jewell, Vice Chairman Alan <br />Crankovich & Commissioner Obie O'Brien. <br />Others: Mandy Robinson, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Greg Zempel, <br />Prosecutor; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager. <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PROSECUTOR <br />Mr. Zempel indicated to the Board that there had been some push back <br />from Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health (CWCMH) <br />regarding the bill that was sent to them for legal services provided <br />by the County Prosecutors office. He explained that his staff and <br />Ms. Pless have been dealing with the administrative staff at CWCMH <br />but have not made much progress. Mr. Zempel explained that Dr. Harry <br />Kramer visited him to discuss the bill and explained that he was un- <br />aware that they would be billed in advance. He apologized for the <br />confusion that had been going on between staff and requested that <br />the present bill either be reduced or forgiven entirely. <br />The Board was in full support to continue pursuing payment from <br />CWCMH, and directed staff to continue to do so. <br />Ms. Pless also briefed the Board on some contract language that <br />needed to be corrected.
