BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO.: 2411- aQt Declaring Certain Property Surplus to the Countv's Needs. WHEREAS, RCW 39.33.020 and Ch. 2.81 KCC authorize counties to declare property surplus after proper notice and hearing; and, WHEREAS, RCW 36.34.130 authorizes intergovernmental property exchanges; and, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, after proper notice, conducted a hearing on. January 21, 2009 to determine the public interest in the property commonly known as the "Old Courthouse Parking Lot," whose tax parcel ID number is 136933, and which is legally described as "the north 40" of lot 9, all of lot 10, block 7, Ellensburg Original town, in the City of Ellensburg, Kittitas County, Washington;"; and, WHEREAS, at said hearing, testimony was taken and inquiry made into the public benefit of said property; and., WHEREAS, the hearing was continued to February 3, 2009 at which time the record. was closed and the Board deliberated and voted; and, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners unanimously voted to declare said property surplus to the County's needs NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The property commonly known as the "Old Courthouse Parking Lot," whose tax parcel ID number is 136933, and which is legally described as "the north 40" of lot 9, all of lot 10, block 7, Ellensburg Original town, in the City of Ellensburg, Kittitas County, Washington" is hereby declared surplus to the County's needs.
