COUNTY OF ;. <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE AND KITTCOM <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office acts as Kittitas <br />County's legal adviser, prosecutor of criminal matters, and as a representative of the <br />County in civil cases; and <br />WHEREAS, KITTCOM is a multi jurisdictional public safety answering point <br />services provider jointly and cooperatively created and administered by various public <br />agencies in Kittitas County under the authority of an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement <br />executed pursuant to RCW Chapter 39.34; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and KITTCOM wish <br />to arrange for an exchange of services; and <br />WHEREAS, KITTCOM can contract for legal services as per its 2004 Interlocal <br />Agreement, Section 3; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has agreed to <br />provide legal services under the under the terms and conditions of the attached Interlocal <br />Agreement in exchange for KITTCOM providing services as described in the <br />aforementioned Interlocal Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, That an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and KITTCOM be established for an <br />exchange of services between the two agencies. <br />RESOLUTION FOR AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />KITTITAS COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE AND <br />KITTCOM <br />Page I <br />
