NO. 2010 - IPI <br />SOL.1TION TO AWAM THE BID TO F42INISH.D <br />BACKHOE ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS SET FORTH BY DEPARTMENT 0 <br />PUBLIC WORKS I <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised to furnish One New Wheel Loader <br />Backhoe; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on September 22, 2010, in the Kittitas County Public <br />Works Office. Three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid from Pape <br />Machinery in the amount of $88,321.55, be accepted as the lowest bidder to meet <br />specifications; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid to purchase one new wheel <br />loader backhoe to Pape'Machinery in the amount of $88,321.55,with said award <br />conditioned upon the terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted <br />by said bidder. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director be authorized to sign the contract <br />documents for the bid awarded hereunder pursuant to the terms and conditions as <br />specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder <br />DATED this 5 1--, <br />Clerk of the Board <br />day of October, 2010, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />.� ,4LZ <br />Alan Crankovich, Commissioner <br />
