COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MONDAY 10:20 A.M. SEPTEMBER 27, 2010 <br />Board members present: Chairman Mark. McClain; Vice -Chairman Paul <br />Jewell; Commissioner Alan Crankovich. <br />Others: Mandy Robinson, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Clay Myers, <br />Undersheriff. <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SHERIFF <br />Clay Myers, Undersheriff indicated that he was available to answer <br />any questions the Board had regarding a previously submitted voucher <br />for clerical staff boots. He reviewed the history of how staff has <br />received a boot allowance and why. The Board determined after a <br />lengthy discussion, of the possibility that language in the Union <br />Contract possibly is too vague and, may have been interrupted to an <br />extent further than which it was to be, and that the discussion on <br />the Union Contract language would best be discussed on the HR Study <br />Session. Staff was directed to notify HR of the Boards request to <br />discuss language in the Union contract pertaining to wardrobe and <br />foot wear allowance.
