ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve resolution granting ascent to agreement between CWU and DNR regarding parking helicopters on
the premises leased by CWU at our airport during the fire season.
BACKGROUND:
CWU leases property from the County at our airport and industrial area. Said lease requires BOCC approval
for subleases or sublicenses. CWU and DNR have arranged in years past, and the County has granted ascent
to such, that the DNR may park it helicopters on CWU's leased premises during the fire season. CWU and
DNR are seeking to do that again this season. The attached resolution would grant such assent. The
agreement between CWU and DNR is attached as well.
INTERACTION:
I have been in email conversation with a representative of CWU.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve resolution granting ascent to agreement between CWU and DNR regarding parking helicopters on
the premises leased by CWU at our airport during the fire season.
