Action Requested: Request to have the Chairman sign the Amendment to County Program
Agreement–Long Term Payable Agreement (DSHS Agreement # 1763-88849
Amendment No 01)
Background: The County currently has an agreement with DSHS for funds held in advance for the
Developmental Disability and Substance Abuse Programs. The amount currently on
hand is $91,144.00 for Developmental Disabilities (DD). On April 1, 2018, the
County Auditor sent in a Contract Period Analysis to DSHS for the advance funds to
determine if the need is still present and to verify the funds are still available. These
advance funds are to alleviate the cash flow problems associated with the time lag
between payment by the County for services and reimbursement from DSHS. This
agreement date is from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. We are in the process
of reviewing the amount we have on hand and may reduce the amount.
Recommendation: Request the Chairman sign the contract 1763-88849 Amendment No 01 County
Program Agreement Long-Term Payable Agreement with DSHS.
