This
amendment extends the term of agreement with a modified end date of 2/23/2020 and the
terms and conditions to continue to apply for so long as the applications are used by the
County. This amendment also deploys the ConnectUs Inmate Service platform and
Securus Video Visitation applications per the contract terms.

Per the contract, section 3.1, Securus Inc. will be paying the costs of this application with
the exception of approximately $1,500 in wiring fees and the possible cost of JMS and 3rd
party vendor integration (no estimate provided) which the County will be responsible for.
The Sheriff’s Office will provide the funding for this.

Note that the Sick Call application will not be used, the current system of Kites will
remain in place.

INTERACTION: This professional services agreement was reviewed and approved by
the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.

RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge a Second Amendment to the Master
Services Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Securus Technologies,
Inc.

HANDLING: None.

LEAD STAFF: Commander Paula Hoctor
