KITTITASCOUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDASTAFF REPORT <br />AGENDADATE:Tuesday,January 16,2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED:Request to Approve a Resolution awarding funding for Grants <br />pursuant to Law &Justice Council recommendations on spending of 1/10th of 1%Sales <br />Tax Reserves. <br />BACKGROUND:One of the Kittitas County Law &Justice functions is to make <br />recommendations for funding of grants to meet the objectives of the council,aimed at <br />reducing crime in our county or educating our citizens about law and justice concerns. <br />These expenditures shall be made from the 1/10th Of ξSRÏCS ÍnX TOSCTVC SCCOUDÍ <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners for spending on special projects to <br />foster cooperation,sharing of resources and enhancement of criminal justice projects <br />within Kittitas County. <br />INTERACTION:This Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION:Request to Approve a Resolution awarding funding for <br />Grants pursuant to Law &Justice Council recommendations on spending of 1/10th Of Î% <br />Sales Tax Reserves. <br />HANDLING:Return one signed original to the Sheriff's Office <br />LEAD STAFF:Command staff
