ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Administrator of the Kittitas
County Public Health Department on the Department of Social and Health Services Division of
Behavioral Health and Recovery agreement. (Effective Dates: April 1, 2018 through June 30,
2019)
BACKGROUND:
The agreement is established between the Department of Social and Health Services Division of
Behavioral Health and Recovery and KCPHD to allow coordination and implementation of
prevention programs and strategies designed to prevent or delay the misuse and abuse of alcohol,
marijuana, tobacco, and other drugs, increase mental health promotion, and prevent suicide.
Program target populations and focus area are dependent on funding source and specific funded
exhibits.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on April 27, 2018.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on April 30, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Administrator of the Kittitas
County Public Health Department on the Department of Social and Health Services Division of
Behavioral Health and Recovery agreement. (Effective Dates: April 1, 2018 through June 30,
2019)
