KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 1, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for June 5, 2018 to consider an <br />irrigation franchise with Timothy Peda along East Third (3`a) <br />Avenue. <br />BACKGROUND: Timothy Peda has applied for an irrigation franchise across East <br />Third Avenue. The proposed franchise is to install a 6" water line <br />across East Third Avenue for access to water for the irrigation of <br />private property. <br />The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on June 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm and advertise <br />accordingly, to consider an irrigation franchise from Timothy Peda <br />across East Third Avenue. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Franchise Application <br />LEAD STAFF: Sara Folk <br />Engineering Services Manager <br />
