AGENDA DATE: May 1, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve Claim of Kittitas County PUD No.1.
BACKGROUND: The claimant, Kittitas County PUD No. 1 (“PUD”), claims damages
of approximately $6,211.75, for damage to a PUD power pole
allegedly caused by Kittitas County’s road workers on December 18,
2017. Kittitas County Claim # 201803080044.
INTERACTION: The Public Works Director confirmed Public Works Maintenance
Staff struck and damaged the PUD power pole while performing ditch
clearing operations. Staff recommends approval of this claim.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Kittitas County Claim # 201803080044, in the amount of
$6,211.75, conditioned upon receipt of a signed Release of All Claims
from the claimant.
