ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement Annual
Renewal between Kittitas County and Government Payment Service, Inc.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office elects to renew for a one-year
period, to 4/1/19, the agreement originally effective on February 3, 2015 with
Government Payment Services, Inc. for the services described in the original agreement.
This vendor provides the capability for County Corrections to take online bail payments
and for the Sheriff’s Office to take customer payments for services for which a fee is
charged (e.g., CPLs and civil papers). Card payments are automatically deposited into the
bank account specified by the County Treasurer.
INTERACTION: This professional services agreement was reviewed and approved by
the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement Annual
Renewal between Kittitas County and Government Payment Service, Inc.
HANDLING: Please return one set of fully executed originals to Kittitas County
Sheriff’s Office for us to send to the vendor.
