KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 17, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Review and Acknowledge the 2018 Contract and Statement of <br />Work between the Bureau of Land Management and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Land Management have had <br />an extensive relationship in years past. The purpose of this order is to obtain Law <br />Enforcement services as needed to assist the Bureau of Land Management in <br />administration and regulation of the use and occupancy of the public lands which the <br />Bureau oversees. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Review and Acknowledge the 2018 Contract and Statement of <br />Work between the Bureau of Land Management and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />HANDLING: None. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff.
