PROCLAMATION
PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF APRIL 2 through 6, 2018 AS
PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK
WHEREAS: The week of April 2-6, 2018 is National Public Health Week, sponsored by
“Healthiest Nation 2030”; and
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Public Health Department will support and recognize
national Public Health Week 2018, and work to protect and promote the health
and environment of the people of Kittitas County; and
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Public Health Department, in the public interest of its
residents, will works towards preventing the spread of disease, promoting
physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and support public health systems; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Kittitas County Board of County
Commissioners do hereby proclaim the week of April 2-6, 2018 as National Public Health Week,
and urge all residents to recognize its significance, and its mission to “Changing our Future
Together” in order to become a happier and healthier United States by 2030.
