ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Board Signature on the Second Amendment to the Agreement with Waste Management.
BACKGROUND:
On May 10, 2010 Kittitas County entered into an agreement with Waste Management to operate the transfer
station and to provide landfill space for Kittitas County's Municipal Solid Waste (MSW).
On July 1, 2015 the First Amendment to the agreement was executed extending the agreement until June 30,
2020.
The Second Amendment is being brought forward to clarify language and current practice. This amendment
does not include additional cost or additional time.
INTERACTION:
Waste Management, Prosecutors Office and Solid Waste.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Boards Signature on Amendment.
