KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 6, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge City Representation/Recommendation to the County <br />Disability Board and Kittitas County Solid Waste Advisory Board. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg has held representative positions on <br />various County Boards and Committees. They recently had <br />elections and changes have been submitted for the Board to <br />consider relating to City of Ellensburg Councilmembers /City <br />Employees representation on the County’s Boards, Committee’s <br />and Commissions. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Office of the Ellensburg City Manager, sent a letter dated <br />January 25, 2018, requesting the County acknowledge City <br />Councilmember Nancy Lilliquist’s representation on the County’s <br />Disability Board & City Councilmember Jill Scheffer and Ryan <br />Lyyski, Public Works Director (City) to the Kittitas County Solid <br />Waste Advisory Board. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge City Councilmember Nancy Lilliquist’s <br />representation on the County Disability Board and City <br />Councilmember Jill Scheffer and Ryan Lyyski (City of Ellensburg <br />DPW Director) to the Kittitas County Solid Waste Advisory <br />Committee. <br /> <br />HANDLING: BoCC Staff to update the County Boards and Commissions page, <br />and notify the City of the Board’s final decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter from the Office of the City Manager, of the City of <br />Ellensburg, dated January 25, 2018. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II
