AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 6, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge City Representation/Recommendation to the County
Disability Board and Kittitas County Solid Waste Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg has held representative positions on
various County Boards and Committees. They recently had
elections and changes have been submitted for the Board to
consider relating to City of Ellensburg Councilmembers /City
Employees representation on the County’s Boards, Committee’s
and Commissions.
INTERACTION: The Office of the Ellensburg City Manager, sent a letter dated
January 25, 2018, requesting the County acknowledge City
Councilmember Nancy Lilliquist’s representation on the County’s
Disability Board & City Councilmember Jill Scheffer and Ryan
Lyyski, Public Works Director (City) to the Kittitas County Solid
Waste Advisory Board.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge City Councilmember Nancy Lilliquist’s
representation on the County Disability Board and City
Councilmember Jill Scheffer and Ryan Lyyski (City of Ellensburg
DPW Director) to the Kittitas County Solid Waste Advisory
Committee.
HANDLING: BoCC Staff to update the County Boards and Commissions page,
and notify the City of the Board’s final decision.
