KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 6, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Professional Services Agreement <br />Between Kittitas County & Kittitas County Conservation <br />District (KCCD). <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners Office met on <br />November 13, 2017, and again on November 20, 2017, to <br />discuss a proposal brought forward by the KCCD and to be <br />produced by NSNW with the County possibly contributing <br />funds towards an educational video of the Jolly Mountain <br />Fire. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Commissioner Paul Jewell worked on a PSA with KCCD <br />Staff in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00 for Kittitas <br />County’s contribution, pre-approved by the Board on <br />11/20/2017, for NXNW to produce a 3-5 minute <br />educational video of the Jolly Mountain Fire. <br /> <br />Commissioner Paul Jewell had HR Director/Risk Manager <br />review the insurance provided. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign a Professional <br />Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Conservation District for an 3-5 minute educational <br />video produced by NXNW not to exceed $5,000.00, and to <br />commence on 12/1/2017 until the Scope of Work is <br />complete. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1- Original Clerk <br /> 1- Original KCCD/KCCD to provide copy to NXNW <br />1-Copy to Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2 - Professional Services Agreement. <br /> Minutes from 11/13/2017 & 11/20/2017 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Paul Jewell, County Commissioner
