AGENDA DATE: February 6, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Professional Services Agreement
Between Kittitas County & Kittitas County Conservation
District (KCCD).
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners Office met on
November 13, 2017, and again on November 20, 2017, to
discuss a proposal brought forward by the KCCD and to be
produced by NSNW with the County possibly contributing
funds towards an educational video of the Jolly Mountain
Fire.
INTERACTION: Commissioner Paul Jewell worked on a PSA with KCCD
Staff in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00 for Kittitas
County’s contribution, pre-approved by the Board on
11/20/2017, for NXNW to produce a 3-5 minute
educational video of the Jolly Mountain Fire.
Commissioner Paul Jewell had HR Director/Risk Manager
review the insurance provided.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign a Professional
Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas
County Conservation District for an 3-5 minute educational
video produced by NXNW not to exceed $5,000.00, and to
commence on 12/1/2017 until the Scope of Work is
complete.
HANDLING: 1- Original Clerk
1- Original KCCD/KCCD to provide copy to NXNW
1-Copy to Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager
