KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 20, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Amend the Dates Contained within Section 13 <br />of the Contract between the County and the Ellensburg <br />Rodeo Board. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Ellensburg Rodeo Board and Kittitas Valley Event Center <br />are in Agreement to move the dates forward in Section 13 <br />of the Contract between the County and the Ellensburg <br />Rodeo, which will allow both parties adequate time to get <br />the work done on an annual basis & completed in time for <br />both events. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Commissioner Jewell worked with the Rodeo Board, Event <br />Center Director Jill Scheffer and Deputy Prosecutor Neil <br />Caulkins on the proposed Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Amendment & Resolution as presented <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1- Original Clerk <br /> 1- Original Rodeo Board <br />1-Copy to Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager/Jill <br />Scheffer, Event Center Director <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: ~ Amendment to Rodeo Contract between Kittitas County <br />and Ellensburg Rodeo Association. <br /> <br />~ Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Paul Jewell, County Commissioner
