KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 6. 2018 <br />Resolution to Award the Bid to furnish Rock <br />Materials for One (1) Calendar Year following <br />Contract Execution. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Rock Materials in <br />accordance with specifications. Call for bids <br />are advertised in the legal newspaper in order <br />to provide equal opportunity. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bids were opened February 22, 2018, at 10:00 <br />a.m. in the Public Works Department. <br />One (1) bid was received and deemed <br />responsive. <br />The bid for 2018 has an increase of <br />approximately one percent (1 %) from 2017 bid <br />pricing. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bid <br />to furnish Rock Materials for One (1) Calendar <br />Year following Contract Execution to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products for Schedules A'; <br />B' and 'C'. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
