ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public
Health Department Administrator on the contract between Benton Franklin Health District and
KCPHD.
BACKGROUND:
The contract between Benton Franklin Health District and KCPHD is created to help support the
efforts to reduce initiation and use of tobacco and vapor products in the Greater Columbia
Accountable Community of Health region through a comprehensive tobacco control program
focusing on policy, systems, and environmental changes.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Board of Health: N/A
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on February 16, 2018.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on February 22, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public
Health Department Administrator on the contract between Benton Franklin Health District and
KCPHD.
