AGENDA DATE: March 21, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the reappointment of Nicalee Smith
to the Kittitas County Housing Authority
Board.
BACKGROUND: As of April 6, 2017 there will be one vacancy on
the Housing Authority Board. This is due to
Ms. Smith’s appointment potentially expiring.
INTERACTION: On March 1, 2017 Staff sent a letter to Ms.
Smith notifying her that her term on the
County Housing Authority was about to end.
On March 13, 2017 Staff received a letter from
Ms. Smith requesting the Board consider her
for another term on the Kittitas County
Housing Authority.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the reappointment of Ms. Nicalee
Smith to the Housing Authority for a 5 year
term effective immediately and expiring in
April 2022.
HANDLING: Staff to notify applicant and the Housing
Authority of the Board’s Decision.
