AGENDA DATE: March 21, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the appointment of Ms. Jessica
Hutchinson to the Kittitas County Board of
Equalization (BOE).
BACKGROUND: Currently there are two vacancies on the Board
of Equalization.
INTERACTION: On March 8, 2017, the BoCC office received an
application from Ms. Hutchinson and a letter of
support from the Board of Equalization Clerk
stating that the BOE fully supports the
appointment of Ms. Hutchinson to the
Alternate #1 position. They stated that with
her previous experience it will be a smooth
transition back to being an active member.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. Jessica Hutchinson for a three
year term as an alternate, effective
immediately through December 31st, 2020.
HANDLING: Deputy Clerk of the Board to notify applicant
and the Kittitas County BOE of the Board’s
decision.
