AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: April 3, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board Signature on Step Placement Notification Letters to
Large Scale Grant Applicants.
BACKGROUND: The Technical Review Team (TRT), an advisory committee, was
formed to assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee by reviewing
proposed capital improvement projects and assisting the applicants
through the four step process.
INTERACTION: During a Special Meeting of the TRT on March 12, 2018, the TRT
reviewed each large-scale grant application scoring 50 points and
above; completed their Initial Project Evaluation Form for each
applicant and voted to forward their Evaluation Forms to the Lodging
Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) for review. The LTAC reviewed
the Initial Project Evaluation Forms from the TRT and voted to
forward the Evaluation Forms and to the Board of County
Commissioners (BOCC) for approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the Step Placement Letters to the
Large Scale Grant Applicants.
