ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Public Health
Administrator on the Interagency Agreement between the State of Washington Department of
Ecology and Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective dates: March 1, 2016 through
June 30, 2016)
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of Interagency Agreement between the Washington State Department of Ecology
and Kittitas County Public Health Department is for the health department to enter the EPA P
Advance Program to prevent non-attainment in Ellensburg. This project will create a future plan
for sustainable efforts to reduce PM2.5 through activities within the EPA’s PM Advance
Program and efforts to elicit behavior change around burning.

Kittitas County Board of Health: N/A
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on May 17, 2016
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on May 18, 2016
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Public Health
Administrator on the Interagency Agreement between the State of Washington Department of
Ecology and Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective dates: March 1, 2016 through
June 30, 2016)
HANDLING:
Clerk of the Board send notice of approval to the Auditor’s Office.
