ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve the
recommendation from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee to
allocate $100,000 to Lodging Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale
Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and Operations Applications
Request for Proposals (RFP).
BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met and discussed the
proposed changes to the Lodging Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-
Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and Operations
Application.
INTERACTION: The LTAC voted unanimously to forward a recommendation to the
BOCC to allocate $100,000 to advertise for a RFP for the Lodging
Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital
Projects and Operations Application.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the recommendation from the Lodging Tax Committee to
allocate $100,000 to Lodging Tax for Tourism-Related, Small-Scale
Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and Operations and approve
advertising a Request for Proposals on 5-20-16.
