Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 17, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Board approval of an Ordinance amending Kittitas County Ordinance 2016-006 <br />which will include the most recent Kittitas County Code Title 18 with <br />amendments to reflect the Washington State Department of Ecology approved <br />Shoreline Master Program for Kittitas County. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On March 15, 2016 the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance <br />2016-006 which made necessary amendments to Kittitas County Code and the <br />Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan to reflect the Washington State Department <br />of Ecology’s final approval of the Kittitas County Shoreline Master Program. <br />The amendments to Kittitas County Code included amendments Kittitas County <br />Code Title 18; however a previous version of Kittitas County Code Title 18 was <br />included in Ordinance 2016-006 which did not include changes that were made <br />by Ordinance 2013-012. This oversight has been corrected in this amendment to <br />Ordinance 2016-006. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Prosecuting Attorney, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance and Exhibit A, attached as one document <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS Planning Official recommends to the Board of County Commissioners to <br />approve this Ordinance amending Ordinance 2016-006 to include the most <br />current version of Kittitas County Code Title 18 with the necessary amendments <br />from the Ecology approved Shoreline Master Program. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Angela San Filippo, Planner II <br />
