Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />May 5, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public <br />Administrator on the SNAP-Ed Partnership Agreement. (Effective dates: Upon Signature- Upon <br />Termination) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) Partnership Agreement <br />is between Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) and Kittitas County Farmers <br />Market to identify the roles and responsibilities of each party related to providing SNAP-ED to <br />eligible persons in Washington. The SNAP-Ed program is intended to provide nutrition <br />education to low income individuals. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on April 18, 2016. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on April 25, 2016. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public <br />Administrator on the SNAP-Ed Partnership Agreement.
