ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public
Administrator on the SNAP-Ed Partnership Agreement. (Effective dates: Upon Signature- Upon
Termination)
BACKGROUND:
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) Partnership Agreement
is between Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) and Kittitas County Farmers
Market to identify the roles and responsibilities of each party related to providing SNAP-ED to
eligible persons in Washington. The SNAP-Ed program is intended to provide nutrition
education to low income individuals.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on April 18, 2016.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on April 25, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public
Administrator on the SNAP-Ed Partnership Agreement. (Effective dates: Upon Signature- upon
Termination)
