AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: May 3, 2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider an Appointment to the Planning Commission Dist.#1
Vacancy & Authorize the Chair to Sign a Letter of appointment
once BoCC selects the new member.
BACKGROUND: Currently there is one (1) vacant position on the Kittitas County
Planning Commission for Dist #1.
INTERACTION: Mary Monahan Application submitted on 3-10-2016.
Robert Martin Application submitted on 3-22-2016.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint one of the two Applications submitted for Dist. #1
Planning Commission, for a term to commence immediately &
expire on December 31, 2016 and authorize the Chair to sign a
letter of appointment.
HANDLING: Staff to notify the selected candidate and notify the Clerk of the
Planning Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees
website.
