ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and
Kittitas County Fire District #2.
BACKGROUND:
The county shall provide personnel to conduct an analysis of services provided to all paramedicine clients in
order to catalogue intervention services, determine which intervention services were provided, and calculate
return on investment costs by quantifying the number of services that resulted in avoided emergency care
costs per patient. The county will also evaluate patient’s use of KVFR emergency transport system and
KVH emergency room prior to and after receiving paramedicine services. The county will compile results
and enter completed evaluation data into a database that can be shared with KVFR. The county shall
conduct follow-up analysis of collected data, and prepare a report on evaluation results for KVFR.

The Board of County Commissioners approves the Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and
Kittitas County Fire District #2.
