AGENDA DATE: 4-5-2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Amendment to the agreement for the removal and recycling of lead
batteries form the Kittitas County Transfer Station
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County had a contract with Battery Systems Inc. as to which
notice of intent to terminate the contract or enter negotiate a price
change was provided on February 22nd 2016. It was agreed that fair
market price was $0.23 down from $0.30 the previous year.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and accepted proposed changes
to agreement
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Amendment to the agreement for the removal and
recycling of lead batteries form the Kittitas County Transfer Station
