<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 5, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Making New Noise Ordinance Effective and Directing Amendment to <br />County Code <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners passed Ordinance <br />2016-02, amending the county noise regulations, on February 2, 2016. <br />Said proposed noise ordinance was sent to the Department of Ecology <br />for review pursuant to RCW 70.107.060(3) and WAC 173-60-110(2). <br />A letter from the Department of Ecology, dated March 17, 2016, was <br />received expressing no concern with the County’s proposed noise <br />regulations, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto as <br />“Exhibit A” and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office has prepared, reviewed and signed the <br />proposed ordinance.
