AGENDA DATE: March 15, 2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve an Agreement for the Receipt of Grant Funds
from the State of Washington Department of Agriculture to Improve
the Rodeo Arena Footing.
BACKGROUND: In November of 2015, the Kittitas Valley Event Center Director
submitted applications to the State of Washington Department of
Agricultural for health and safety grant funding. On January 8th of
2016, the Event Center Director was notified of the partial funding of
one of those applications. Funding has been approved for the
modification of the Rodeo Arena riding surface. This is a full funding
for this portion of the original application. The State of Washington,
Department of Agriculture prepared the attached agreement and it was
forward to the Prosecutor’s office for review.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the grant contract and approved
it under review# 32523. The Prosecutor did not suggest any revisions
to the document.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the agreement for Grant Funds from the State of Washington
Department of Agriculture to Improve the Rodeo Arena Footing..
