AGENDA DATE: March 15, 2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a public hearing to bring several permit fees up to, or near, cost recovery.
BACKGROUND: In 2014, a fees analysis was completed, showing that several of the fees for this officer
were not at cost recovery. The fees were increased, but do not meet full cost recovery
and have not been increased since 2014. I would like to set a public hearing with the
Board of County Commissioners to review several of the fees we discussed in the study
session in December.
INTERACTION: The Board of County Commissioners and the Fire Marshal’s Office
RECOMMENDATION: Set Public Hearing for Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
