Resolution 2016-_____ <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-_______ <br /> <br />A Resolution Authorizing the Continuation of Professional Services by <br />Environmental Science Associates (ESA) in Assisting Kittitas County in Updating <br />the Critical Areas Ordinance <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The County entered into a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) <br />effective October 18th, 2011 with Environmental Science Associates (ESA) <br />to aid in providing Best Available Science information when developing a <br />Shorelines Master Program and in updating the Critical Areas Ordinance <br />(CAO); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The original Professional Services Agreement expired on June 20, 2014; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The County seeks to retain the ESA services to complete Best Available <br />Science for the CAO update since the company produced much of the <br />information needed to update the County’s existing CAO; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County through Resolution 2014-140 agreed to update the <br />Consultant’s staff and hourly rates attached hereto. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 2014-140 cited that additional extension for services is required <br />but did not stipulate a date to extend this agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, That the <br />agreement made on October 18th, 2011 and amended on September 16, 2014 shall be <br />extended until December 31, 2017 with the precise scope of work to be determined in <br />the future. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED this ______day of __________________, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />
