AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: March 15, 2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Department of Corrections Interagency
Contract #K9561(4) between Kittitas County and Department of Corrections.
BACKGROUND: This contract is entered into by Kittitas County and the Department
of Corrections for the purpose of maximizing the efficient and cost effective use of
existing resources and to provide adequate facilities and programs for the confinement,
care and treatment of Department offenders.
INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Department of Corrections Interagency
Contract #K9561(4) between Kittitas County and Department of Corrections.
HANDLING: Return both originals to the Sheriff’s Office for obtaining signatures
from the Department of Corrections. Upon receipt the Sheriff’s Office will return one
original to the Board of County Commissioners.
