AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: March 1, 2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to sign the Ordinance granting the Fire Marshal the authority to
implement a ban on fireworks when certain criteria has been met.
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on this matter on
February 16, 2016. Some changes to the policy and resolution were requested by
the board and have been completed per their instructions.
INTERACTION: Board of County Commissioners and Fire Marshal’s office staff
RECOMMENDATION: Sign the ordinance adopting new code.
