ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Public Health Administrator on the
Evergreen Financial Services Agreement Amendment. (Effective date: Upon Signature- upon termination by
either party)
BACKGROUND:
The Evergreen Financial Services Agreement Amendment is entered into with Kittitas County Public Health
Department to allow Evergreen Financial Services to perform collection activity to recover unpaid accounts
for the Kittitas County Public Health Department. The amendment is needed to remove an end date on the
contract as this was an error on contractor part and is stated that can agreement may be terminated by either
party with 30 day written notice.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office reviewed and approved the
Collection Services Agreement Amendment on February 2, 2016.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: The Kittitas County Auditor’s Office reviewed and approve the Collection
Services Agreement Amendment on February 11, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Public Health Administrator on the
Evergreen Financial Services Agreement Amendment. (Effective date: Upon Signature- upon termination by
either party)
HANDLING:
Clerk of the Board send notice of approval to the Kittitas County Auditor's Office.
Please note: Public Health will route originals to contractor, BOCC, Auditor's Office, and Public Health
files.
