AGENDA DATE:
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve an amendment to the contract for Substance
Abuse Services for the 2015-2017 Biennium between Kittitas County
and MERIT Resource Services (MERIT).
BACKGROUND: This contract with MERIT is to provide Substance Abuse Treatment
Services to indigent and low income individuals in Kittitas County.
The purpose of the amendment is to update the contract with state
required language. No County general funds are involved.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office and the Auditors office have reviewed the
proposed contract.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the amendment to the contract between Kittitas County and
MERIT for Substance Abuse Treatment Services in the amount of
$219,646.
HANDLING: (8) copies – Clerk of the Board
(2) copies – sign and return to ADDS
ATTACHMENTS: Substance Abuse Treatment Agreement between Kittitas County and
MERIT.
