AGENDA DATE: February 2, 2016
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve 2016 Cooperative Law Enforcement
Agreement #14 -LE -11061720-011 Mod 002 between the Kittitas County Sheriff Office
and the US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff s Office has worked with the US Forest
Service for several years. The purpose of this agreement is to document a cooperative
effort between the parties to enhance State and local law enforcement in connection with
activities on National Forest Service lands and provide for reimbursement to the Kittitas
County Sheriff s Office.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve 2016 Cooperative Law Enforcement
Agreement # 14 -LE -11061720-011 Mod 002 between the Kittitas County Sheriffs Office
and the US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest.
HANDLING: Sheriff Office to provide BOCC a signed original upon receiving USFS
signatures.
