KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 2, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Appoint Dr. Sundaram Nataraja to the Airport <br />Advisory Board-CWU Flight Tech Representative. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: There is an opening for a CWU Flight Tech <br />Representative on the Airport Advisory Board. Our <br />office received an application from Dr. Sundaram <br />Nataraja, CWU Aviation Department. Staff <br />forwarded the application to the Airport Advisory <br />Board for recommendation. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Our office received a letter from Candie Leader, <br />Clerk of the Airport Advisory Board recommending <br />the appointment of Dr. Sundaram Nataraja as the <br />CWU Flight Tech Representative. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Consider the recommendation from the Airport <br />Advisory Board and appoint Dr. Sundaram Nataraja <br />as the CWU Flight Tech Representative, term <br />effective immediately and expires December 31st, <br />2016. Dr. Nataraja is fulfilling a previous members <br />term, at the end of this term he will be invited to <br />request reappointment for a full term. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify applicant and the Airport Advisory <br />Board of the Boards decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Application from Dr. Sundaram Nataraja. <br /> Recommendation from Airport Advisory Board. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board.
