CONTRACT ADDENDUM
KITTITAS COUNTY – CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
THIS ADDENDUM , is made and entered into this __________ day of January,
2016, by and between KITTITAS COUNTY, a subdivision of the State of Washington,
herein after referred to as the “COUNTY” and Central Washington University, Dr.
James E Brooks Library, Archive and Special Collections Department, herein after
referred to as “CWU.”
WHEREAS, the County and CWU entered into a certain contract entitled “Historic
Document and Preservation Funds Grant Agreement” in December of 2014; and
WHEREAS, said contract, at section 1.2, provided for an end date of December 31, 2015;
and
WHEREAS, the tasks contemplated have not yet been completed and the funds not yet
expended; and
WHEREAS, both the County and CWU wish to extend the agreement through 2016 so
as to allow for the completion of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the terms, conditions, covenants, and
performance contained herein, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 1.2 of the above-referenced contract is hereby amended to provide for an
end date of December 31, 2016 rather than December 31, 2015; and
All remaining sections of the above-referenced contract shall remain in full force
and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be
executed the day and year first herein above written.
