The correspondence letter outlines the <br />County’s response to Ecology’s recommended and required changes to the County’s <br />Shoreline Master Program. <br /> <br />According to WAC 173-26-120(7)(b) within 30 days of Ecology’s conditional <br />approval letter the County may agree to the proposed changes or submit an <br />alternative proposal. The County has agreed to all of Ecology’s required changes, 16 <br />of 21 recommended changes, and proposed alternative language for one <br />recommended change. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Correspondence letter in response to the Department of Ecology’s conditional <br />Shoreline Master Program approval letter. <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS Planning Official recommends to the Board of County Commissioners that the <br />Chair sign the correspondence letter. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Angela San Filippo, Planner <br />
