The position has been
vacant since March of last year when Jim Hanson completed his limit of two consecutive four-
year terms and Weed Board policy allows a former director who has completed a two -term limit
to be reappointed after an absence of at least one year.
Jim has been an active member of the Kittitas County Noxious Weed Control Board and Kittitas
County Weed District #5 for many years and is a local farmer and buffalo producer. We feel he
will continue to be a productive member of the Kittitas County Noxious Weed Control Board
and look :forward to working with him again.
The current 4 -year term for Section 5 ends in March of 2015
