The purpose of the Public Hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligble uses of the State Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low-and moderate-income persons and persons residing in Kittitas County.  <br /> <br /> Up to $55,483.00 will be available to Kittitas County and HopeSource to fund public service activities that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons. <br /> <br /> The proposed public service activitites will be available for review at HopeSource 700 E. Mountainview Ave. Suite 501 Ellensburg, WA during regular business hours.  Written comments <br />may also be submitted to Kittitas County up until the public hearing on May 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. <br /> Comments on the County's and community action agency's past performance and use of their 2010 CDBG Public Services Grant awards will also be received. <br /> <br /> The Kittitas County Commissioners Auditorium is handicap accessible.
